Song a Week 2022 – Week 31: I worked on a creating a prog metal sound, constructing the drum, bass and guitar tracks using sample loops. I then overlaid the keyboard, which is mainly pads with the string section in the middle. The words come from a BBC news story about the shadow army of partisans resisting Russian occupation in Kherson, Ukraine but the song is more generally about the futility of military occupation in the face of local resistance.

Song a Week 2022 – Week 30: Two ideas: firstly, that we are all formed of the stuff of stars and secondly, the journey of life. Something of a spiritual journey.
