The relationship between the Church and State in England has a long history. It persists to this day through the establishment: the monarch; parliament and the church.

Song a Week 2021: Week 38 – September 26th. I started with a Kinks ‘lazy Sunday afternoon feel’ but as usual got diverted to the darker side of human nature and the song ended up contrasting the pleasure of drinking with addiction to alcohol.
