Gravity (Isaac’s Last Words) – Live
Song Week 2024 – Week 22: SIn 2021 I was challenged through the Song a Week group to write a song based on the prompt ‘famous last words’. I chose Issac Newton’s and wrote a lyric which is a mash up of phrases in those last words. By definition it is a song about dying but more importantly about acknowledging that our lives are too short to discover all there is to know. Performed with Peter May 2024.

Song Week 2024 #6: No new song again this week. Instead a live a live version of my song ‘Photographs’ Played by Peter (guitar) and myself (voice and keyboard). Performed at the Smile Bar – Live Lounge this is an acoustic version of the second song that I ever wrote for SaW back in 2021.
Now and Then
Song Week 2024 #2: No new song this week. Instead a live cover of The Beatles ‘Now and Then’. Played by Graeme (drums), Jacob (bass), Peter (guitar) and myself (voice and keyboard). Performed at the Smile Bar – Live Lounge we had never played this together before.
In the Live Lounge
Playing live at the Smile Bar & Venue 14/09/22. Unfortunately, the Facebook live stream did not work well, with the video mostly frozen. The audio is OK though. ‘Waterslide’, ‘Today’ & ‘Tell Me Everything’ with Peter & Graeme in the Live Lounge (not too many vocal stutters – phew!)
Playing Live
May 18th 2022 – I performed some of my own compositions live for the first time at the Smile Bar and Venue Live Lounge this week. With Peter on guitar and Graeme on beatbox. Here is some rough phone footage, showing parts of the three songs that I played.
