Song Week 2023 #47 This is a song which I wrote and quickly recorded in 2020. It was written about failed political leadership and the endless drift to conflict. Lessons unlearned from history. As we have still not learned the lesson, the song becomes very relevant again in 2023. I have remixed and mastered it, adding an improved string arrangement.

In his defence he says that his motivation was rooted in his desire to live her lifestyle. “I just wanted to be like you”.

Fireflies with Afterburn
Song Week 2023 #41: Few words to describe this one. I had the idea of fireflies being fitted with afterburners. Hence their tails glowing like jet engines. Rock instrumental.
