Forgive my 7 minute plus indulgence. This is, in fact two songs that ‘segue’. In my twenties I was ill for 8 months with post viral chronic fatigue. Unable to stay awake for more than two hours at a time I spent my waking hours writing the lyrics for a musical based on Tess of the d’Urbervilles. The lyrics have sat in a folder for over 40 years! Now the first two songs have been recorded.
