Mr Sharpe & A Miner’s Daughter

This song is a hybrid created by weaving together different stimuli. I started with the chord sequence which leads with Am on the verse and F# on the chorus. Hence, the intended pun in the title. Having set up the title I then added a dollop of Jane Austen and a memory of the joy of reading books in bed, late Sunday morning, when I was a boy.
